Principles of Material Corrosion and Research on Chemical Corrosion Protection
Introduction
Principles of Material Corrosion and Research on Chemical Corrosion Protection is an interdisciplinary subject that integrates materials science with chemical engineering applications. This book starts with the principles of metal corrosion and explores the mechanisms of high-temperature and electrochemical corrosion, providing theoretical support for material degradation. It also delves into the corrosion characteristics of non-metallic materials, such as polymers and inorganic non-metallic materials. The book further provides a detailed introduction to various corrosion protection technologies, including surface pre-treatment, coatings, and electrochemical protection, to enhance material corrosion resistance. Focusing on the corrosion issues in the chemical industry, the book analyzes the characteristics and types of corrosion, and proposes protective measures and monitoring methods to ensure the safe operation of chemical equipment. Combining theory with practice, this book aims to provide valuable references for researchers and technicians in materials science, chemical engineering, and related fields, contributing to industry innovation and development.
